Sundries Sunday is a tradition here at Appleby and we are pleased to announce this year’s drive. On Mother’s Day, May 11, we will be collecting personal care items to distribute to our outreach partners. For people in low-income homes, access to personal hygiene products may be limited, but we all know these items are essential to maintaining good health, comfort and self-esteem.
Suggested items include:
- Feminine hygiene products *
- Adult incontinence supplies *
- Baby diapers *
- Shower gel & soap
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Deodorant
- Body lotion
- Toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, mouthwash
- Combs & brushes
- Disposable razors & shaving products
- Nail clippers, nail files
- Sunscreen
- Band-Aids and other first aid items
- Cash donation
*clean opened packages are accepted.
