Tubahumurize Association in Rwanda Catalogue

On November 19, our speaker at the Outreach Sunday Service was Hannah Aikman who spoke to us about the Association in Tubahumurize Rwanda.

Tubahumurize is a Rwandan grassroots organization that supports and empowers female victims of violence and marginalization through trauma counselling, micro-credit loans, vocational training, a sewing school and a cooperative. To date, it has assisted over 1,000 women through their programs, currently serving about 450 Rwandan women, and indirectly 1,050 dependent children.

You can help support Tubahumurize by purchasing items from their store. All the products in the catalogue are made by a talented group of 20 graduates of their sewing school. Your purchases help sustain their programs and provide more opportunities for women in Rwanda.

Denise Holloway has a hard copy of the catalogue and order forms.  Completed orders and money (cheque or cash) need to be given to Denise on or before Sunday, December 17.
