Capital Projects at Appleby

For over 183 years Appleby United Church has served the residents of south east Burlington. Appleby has embarked on an ambitious two year project to renovate portions of our almost 50 year old building. Reno50 will impact and benefit virtually every person and group calling Appleby home or using church facilities.

The Reno 50 Project

Sanctuary space will be renovated to include

• an enlarged and more flexible Chancel with improved sightlines
• new dimmable light fixtures throughout the sanctuary
• installation of an integrated multi-media system and extended into the Chapel

The kitchen will be completely reconstructed to include

• all new finishes and new cabinetry
• stainless steel counter tops which will provide a cleaner more sanitary work and food preparation area
• upgraded dishwashing capacity
• a new six burner commercial gas range with twenty-four inch griddle and double oven.
