Appleby’s 2009 Stewardship theme is "Go Green for God". Within this theme we are reflecting on our personal role as stewards of God’s creation.

We’re going to be exploring our impact on the environment through the amount of carbon dioxide we contribute through our use of natural gas, fuel for our vehicles, and electricity. Over the coming weeks, we’ll also explore lots of ideas on how to reduce our carbon footprint and generate some savings along the way.

Pull out your natural gas, vehicle fuel, and electricity bills. Can’t find them? Then try to estimate how much you consume in an average month. Follow the simple calculations and fill in the boxes.
